Fabulous large English antique style mahogany desk chair upholstered in original olive green hide with studded boarders and swivel seat.
This very comfortable desk chair incorporates the design elements of classic 18th century English furniture.
It has a shaped back and arms faced in mahogany with a carved floret design.
The chair sits on a pedestal column of 4 swept, reeded and moulded, mahogany legs with solid brass square toes and brass castors.
This type of pedestal is seen most often in large dining room tables from the 18th century.
The best quality mahogany timbers have been used in this capacious and well made chair and the hide used is also of very good quality.
If you are looking for a generous sized, comfortable, good quality antique desk chair, to match a large antique desk, this is a very good choice. It is in its original condition and has benefitted from a wax polish and brass ware cleaning only.
