A top quality Antique Kidney
Shaped Mahogany Pedestal Desk This is a most attractive kidney
shaped desk with beautiful figured mahogany veneers around all of
its curved sides and throughout the drawers.
It has a very attractive antique brown
and old gold writing surface surrounded by a 2 inch band of well figured
mahogany and a bull nose moulded edge.
Made entirely of solid timbers this
desk is of tremendous quality with fabulous figured veneers. It has
been polished al round and is designed to be free standing in a room.
The drawers are all cock beaded, mahogany
lined and of dovetail construction. The decorative brass handles are
original and the desk has working locks and keys.
As with all pedestal desks it is made
in three sections, two pedestals with three drawers in each and a
writing top with 3 drawers. It stands on attractive short Satyr legs
with hoof feet.

Condition : The desk is in excellent
condition, the polish has been revived and a new writing leather has
