A handsome Antique Georgian revival mahogany
partners desk in the late 18th centaury style of George 111.
This attractive large desk, 72 X 48",
has a black leather writing surface with blind tooling and is
surrounded by a 3" boarder of mahogany and an ogee moulded
edge.
Both sides of the desks are fitted with
9 drawers, three in each pedestal and three to the top (one long
and two short). All drawers have brass locks and swan neck handles
with rounded mouldings to the edges.
The pedestal stand on bold ogee bracket
feet and the drawers are graduated in size making them very useful
sizes.
As with all partners desks it is constructed
in three parts, the top section and the pedestals, allowing for
ease of movement and installation.
