This beautiful table has an all over box wood stinging with an inlaid cross-band below the drawers. Benefitting form the original brass handles and escutcheon it has oak lined drawers with hand cut dovetail joints and cock-beaded edging to the front of the drawers.
The top of the table has beautifully figured timbers with a wonderful deep rich mahogany colour. It has a raised back and tapering square legs which are also inlaid with boxwood stringing.
This is a top quality elegant piece of Georgian furniture which could easily be used as a writing table or occasional table. It is in beautiful condition having recently been sympathetically restored.
